SentBe met its user, Thana Im, in Seoul, March 2021 and listened to her life in Korea and what he has been planning and pursuing for the future. Here's a very inspiring story about her.

SentBe: What made you come to Korea?
Thana: I majored in Korean Studies at a university in Thailand. I really love K-Dramas, too! After working as a faculty in Cheonburi, Thailand, I challenged myself to study at a graduate school in Korea to study Korean language more deeply. I have one big assignment left which is writing a thesis in Korean!

SentBe: How has your life been in Korea so far?
Thana: While studying, I teach Korean to Thai marriage migrant women. I also work part-time as an interpreter at a Korean bank for Thai customers.

SentBe: How has your remittance been used so far?
Thana: With the money I earn, I have been making up for my tuition and transferring it to my Thai bank account for saving. Of course on special days, I send it to my parents! I'm so proud of it!

SentBe: What is your future plan?
Thana: I've seen many friends of mine who studied in Korea and became Korean teachers after they returnred to home. I also would like to teach Korean langugage when I go back to my hometowm after successfully completing my studies in Korea. It would be great to be a professor of Korean language at a Thai university!

SentBe found Thana's face is filled with bright smile all the time when she told us about what she has been achieving and dreaming while living and working in Korea. SentBe is greatly proud of her life journey and will be always supporting her goal to be achieved. SentBe is thrilled to look forward to what to come in her near future!
